How to edit an employee's profile?

Once entered, the data of an employee's profile cannot be edited. So, make sure to check all data before validation to avoid mistakes. If it is the case, I have to contact administrator for modification with justified document provided.

I deleted an employee by mistake / I can't find one of my employees in the list. 

When an employee is deleted, it is possible to make it reappear in the list by clicking on "Yes" os "Show deleted, by selecting the employee you want, then by clicking on "Reactivate an employee. Your employee is found in your main list. So, it is not necessary to redo the "Add an employee".

How to assign complementary modules to an employee's profile?

In the employer's space, select the employee(s) you want to add the complementary modules and click on the button "Assign complementary module(s)" and choose the modules are necessary for the employee(s) to go to industrial sites.

How to add or replace a photo on an employee's profile?

In the employer's space, select the emlployee(s) you want to add or replace the photo and click on the button "Add/Replace photo". Then the website will open a new webpage with the possibility of importing a photo from your computer or taking it with your webcam.

The photo you want to import have to be in JPEG or JPG format and a size less or equal than 2MB.

How to complete the qualification level and the activity sectors on an employee's profile?

In the employer's space, select the emlployee(s) you want to complete the profil with his qualification level and activity sectors, then click on the button "Complete qualification level / activity sectors". The website will open a new webpage with the possibility to choose the qualification level and the activity sectors by dropdown lists.

You can select a maximum of 3 activities and if you can not find the activity in the list, you can choose "Other" and enter the data manually.

How to edit an employer's profile?

In my employer's space, the button "Menu" gives access to my profile and to the commitment charter that I have validated as employer.

By clicking on profile, I can edit information directly and save the new data.

How to pay how many payment methods do I have?

In my employer's space, the "Purchase credits" or "Recharge" buttons are used to generate the Safety Passport web page to buy.

Two payment methods are available for the purchase of credits/tickets:

  1. online payment with a credit card - the validation by 3D Secure will be required. An SMS will be sent to the phone number linked to the card)
  2. payment by bank transfer. In case of bank transfer, the credits will only be validated once the total sum has been received (Your company assumes all costs related to the monetization transaction)

ATTENTION : There is a delay of 48 to 72h for payments by bank transfer.

What is the purpose of the training syllabus?

Several safety trainings courses do not have a regulatory framework, others, such as first aid worker or electrical accreditation, do have.

The syllabus is a guideline presenting the minimum theoretical and practical content to be integrated by the training provider.

The choice of the training provider is at the employer's discretion, he can impose a minimum content and assure the correct training of his employees and have the necessary skills.

Such training is provided by training organisations in training rooms.

What to do in a case of an untimely loss of connection?

In order to participate in the e-Learning course, the network connection has to be stable to avoid any loss of connection during the course. Should you be deconnected, you have to start the current module right from the beginning. So, if you constantly lose your connection with the network:

  • check if an inverter has been installed and is functioning
  • if the inverter works correctly call your internet provider to solve the problem

Furthermore, inadvertent loss connection (included invisibled microloss) can block the videos, and to unblock it, you will have to use a different browser (below see the question: How to access to videos with YouTube which has been blocked?). If you can't click on Next, you had a microloss and the best thing to do is to check your connection and change your browser.

How to participate in the e-Learning course as employer?

Just create yourself as an employee in the list in your employer's account, receive your Login/password as "employee", deconnect from your employer's account and re-connect as "employee" using the supplied Login/password.

I have problems displaying the content of the site.

To safely use the site www.passeportsecurite.nc, you should use the latest version of a browser. Thus, the versions to be used are:

  • Google Chrome > 22 or higher
  • FireFox > 27 or higher
  • Internet Explorer > 11 or higher
  • Safari > 7 or higher

If your browser does not have the correct version, you have to download a free update.

How are logins created?

  • For the employer, to log, you have to use the email address entered for the creation of the employer's account.
  • For the employee, the login corresponds to the entered CAFAT number, and, if not available, to an automatically generated number PSXXX. The information can be found in the employees' table in the employer's account.

What if a newly hired employee already has his or her passport for another employer?

The safety passport, even if it is individual, belongs to the employer whose employee is attached. So any new employee, even if he already has the safety passport with another employer, will have to get a new safety passport with his current employer. Regardless of the employer, the validity period of the safety passport obtained is one year.

Password for my employee doesn't work?

Some of passwords for employees created by system have same type of character but with another meaning such as I for uppercase i or for tiny I. So the easiest is, when it's possible, to do a copy/paste from employer account to employee session. 

How to access to videos with YouTube which has been blocked?

  1. Some companies have blocked YouTube access. To follow Safety Passport e-Learning in a good way, you have to ask the administrator (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), if you accept confidentiality terms, URL addresses for all e-Learning videos. With these addresses, your IT manager cab give access only to these videos keeping YouTube blocked for the others computers. 
  2.  Following the GDPR update of the NC Safety Passport website on January 2020, the user will be asked to authorize YouTube cookies in order to be able to read the videos. To do it, click on the "Cookie preferences management" button in the orange banner displayed at the bottom of the page, then click on "Allow all cookies" and on "Close". Once this process is completed, the videos will be accessible from the employee space.

  3. If the video still does not start and you have an error message with a grey screen instead of the video: this problem occurs in case of an unexpected connexion loss, that is invisible to the user, but the system will have it saved and will not want to continue. You will have to continue by connecting you on a different internet browser than the one you are using. (Ex: the error occurs on Google Chrome, you will have to try to connect to Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or another browser).

From 1st August, 2018, website www.passeportsecurite.nc is also in English version. To access and to follow all training in English language, you have just to click on English flag on right top of the home page.
